Primarily skilled in acrylic paints, this collection also experimnets with other mediums to be used as an accent to the piece; mediums like gouache and heavy body paint.
These canvases I also liked to add other mediums, but more as a background than a full mix of mediums. I also tend to push the boundaries of a canvas by adding more space or warping the space in some way.

Brief: To create a self portrait in a impressionism-like style, portraying mood with color and expressive strokes.
Details: The left side being a cool color theme has more expressive brush strokes and messier lines, while the subject is alone playing music. I wanted to give the impression of what music is being played. While the right side has much calmer strokes, resembling cleaner lines and images. I wanted to emphasize this mood of peace while the subject is enjoying the sun/company.
