Mixed Media
From 2018 - 2024
My mixed media selection is my most experimental work I have done, combining mediums such as: cardboard, plants, plastic, acrylic paint, flim, paper pieces, linoprints, textured paint, and more.
My framed bugs have been the most recent mixed media work, with ethically sourced materials such as deer bones as well as bugs prepared myself, they have been a theme I come back to explore.

Self Portrait:
Media: Acrylic paint, colored pencil
Dimensions: 24in. x 30in.
Title: Anxiety
Date: March, 2020
Brief: To create a large scaled self portrait that would represent myself as well as experimental ideas that push the boundaries of self portraits. The intended audience being the peers around me at the time.
Details: The overall theme of this piece is anxiety, which I represented through the swarming of hands around the subject (me), which were also tugging at different points in different directions. I’ve also conveyed this emotion through the stylistic interpretation of myself at the time. The mediums used are acrylic, colored pencils, and markers on paper, matted.
